The One Time Tool Got It Right

CIPUTAT, INDONESIA - MARCH 28: Search and res...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

Eye on the TV
'cause tragedy thrills me
Whatever flavor it happens to be

"Killed by the husband" ...
"Drowned by the ocean" ...
"Shot by his own son" ...
"She used a poison in his tea,
Then (she) kissed him goodbye"
That's my kind of story
It's no fun til someone dies.

Don't look at me like I am a monster
Frown out your one face, but with the other (you)
Stare like a junkie into the TV
Stare like a zombie while the mother holds her child,
Watches him die,
Hands to the sky cryin "why, oh why?"

Cause I need to watch things die from a distance
Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies
You all need it too - don't lie.

Why can't we just admit it?
Why can't we just admit it?
We won't give pause until the blood is flowin'
Neither the brave nor bold
Nor brightest of stories told
We won't give pause until the blood is flowin'

I need to watch things die from a good safe distance
Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies
You all feel the same so why can't we just admit it?

Blood like rain fallin' down
Drum on grave and ground

Part vampire, part warrior,
Carnivore and voyeur
Stare at the transmittal.
Sing to the death rattle.

La, la, la, la, la, la, la-lie (x4)

Credulous at best
Your desire to believe in
Angels in the hearts of men.
But pull your head on out of your hippie haze
And give a listen
Shouldn't have to say it all again

The universe is hostile
So impersonal
Devour to survive
So it is, so it's always been ...

We all feed on tragedy.
It's like blood to a vampire.

Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies
Much better you than I.

Notes For Barack Hussein Obama

Just trying to do my part to help the president..

* On paper Socialism looks nice, it seems loving and humane. However you forget to calculate in the nature of the greed of mankind. It's built in. The reason you like socialism is because it transfers that greed to government and to those in charge of the government.. that would be you. With capitalism we have opportunity. Opportunity is what America was founded on. With Socialism our opportunity ends at the ceiling put in place by the massive oppressive government. With capitalism the sky is the limit.. and then WE as a nation have the chance to help our neighbors who are in need. When you stick the gun to our head and just take the money from us, it squashes any desire to go above and beyond to help those less fortunate. It's called government enforced mediocrity. We don't want that. And you can bet that in America before you get socialism enforced, you will have a 2nd revolution on your hands.

* Mr. President, remember when you told America that you were going to put high level government meetings and negotiations live on C-span. Well you aren't doing that. In fact from what I heard this may be the most secretive administration in the past 50 years. That doesn't bode well with the public. We hate lying more than anything.. and you see how your approval rating graph looks like a pretty fun ski slope? That's because people don't like having to read between the lines of what you say. We're tired of that.

* If a general in the military tells you he needs more troops, and you have ZERO war experience, or even basic cub scout training.. send the man more troops. Blood will be on your hands.

Obama: In Over His Head?

WASHINGTON - JULY 28: United States Presiden...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

Does anyone else notice that Obama seems to be unable to make hard decisions? I think this might be because before he was a senator for a very short amount of time, he was a community organizer and that gave him ZERO experience to command and lead. Which to me means that the president, whether he is democrat, republican, black, white, catholic, or muslim.. first needs to be a leader.
I would rather have a president that has pre-set beliefs that I disagreed with then someone who just flips a coin on important decisions.
I mean one day Obama is saying he will not bring the health care bill unless it has a public option.. then he says that the public option is not set in stone. He told us that Afghanistan is the real war, that was "his war" We should have never been in Iraq because Afghanistan was where the war made sense.. now when the generals are begging for more troops he is waffling and stalling..Mr. President.. either s*** or get off the pot. Go all in, or bring them home. You can't do this half way.
Also Obama told us all that his presidency was going to be the most transparent and open presidency in history.. Way off! They are going after anyone that opposes the propaganda machine. For a time they even put a gag order on Humana insurance for sending out info on why public insurance was a bad way to go. Humana is a private company. Freedom of Speech is the foundation of the entire constitution. We left England for the stupid antics that Obama and his "Czars" are giving us.
Say what you want about Bush. The man had a plan, even though it was widely unpopular, and he stuck with it. I admire that.

I think Obama is WAY in over his head and this will be a very trying 3 and a half years for our country.

A Few Observations...

NOW ZAD, AFGHANISTAN - APRIL 03: An air strik...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

* Oh how I would love it if our politicians would go back to the days of the duel to the death. I demand satisfaction!

* The only reason the balloon boy hoax story is popular right now is because the media is desperate to get the spotlight off of the hoax known as the Obama Presidency.

* Why have we not turned the Taliban into a pile of turbans, blood, and ashes?? I would love to go out in a blaze of glory fighting those thugs.

What I've Learned From Cartoons...

Gargamel and Azrael.

* Sometimes you just have to quit your job, buy a van, and go out on your own and solve mysteries with the gang.

* Leaders of evil organizations are often cat lovers. Their cats generally sit on their lap and laugh menacingly at their evil deeds.

* Smurfs have no problem breeding and multiplying even though it seems only one female lives among them. Vanity Smurf in the Smurf language appears to mean homosexual.

* In the stone age everyone had names that had something to do with rocks. Also, pelicans make great cement mixers and often make comments about their jobs while they work.

* In the future we will all have names that are based on space and technology. Only our robot house cleaners will have normal names.

* In nature, rabbits have been known to cross dress and even perform in operas.

I didn't learn much.

Natural Born Losers

By Ann Coulter

The question of whether President Obama should send more troops to Afghanistan misses the point.

What Obama really needs to do is: Invent a time machine, go back to the 2008 presidential campaign and not say, over and over and over again, that Afghanistan was a "war of necessity" while the war in Iraq was a "war of choice." (Oh, and as long as you're back there, ditch Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett and that gay "school safety" czar.)

The most important part of warfare is picking your battlefield, and President Bush picked Iraq for a reason.

Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan attacked us on 9/11 -- or the dozen other times American embassies, barracks and buildings came under jihadist onslaught since Jimmy Carter presided over "regime change" in Iran in 1979. Both countries -- and others -- gave succor to terrorists who had attacked the U.S. repeatedly, and would do so again.

As liberals endlessly reminded us during the three weeks of war in Afghanistan before the U.S. military swept into Kabul, Afghanistan has all the makings of a military disaster. It is mountainous, cave-pocked, tribal, has no resources worth fighting for and a populace that makes Khalid Sheikh Mohammed look like Alistair Cooke.

By contrast, Iraq had a relatively educated, pro-Western populace, but was ruled by a brutal third-world despot.

It's always something with the Muslims. You either have mostly sane people governed by a crazy dictator -- Iraq, Iran and Syria (also California and Michigan) -- or a crazy people governed by relatively sane leaders -- Pakistan and Afghanistan, post-U.S. invasion (also Vermont and Minnesota). There are also insane people ruled by insane leaders (but enough about the House Democratic Caucus). Sane people with sane rulers has not been fully tried yet.

Not only could regime change in Iraq work, but Iraq's countryside was susceptible to America's overwhelming air power. Also, Iraq has fabulous natural resources. Once the U.S. got control of Iraq's oil fields, the Shia, Sunni and Kurds could decide to either prosper together or starve together. (And it's not just oil: They're basically sitting on top of most of the world's proven reserves of cab drivers.)

By contrast, there aren't a lot of sticks that can be used in a wasteland like Afghanistan, where the people live in caves and scratch out a living in the dirt. The only "carrot" we might be able to offer them would be actual carrots.

A Couple Of Observations...

* Bush is president, he bombs the actual enemy, and he is called war-monger and made to look like some lunatic by the other world leaders. Obama continues the same war but instead bombs the moon, and they give him a nobel peace prize. Dumbest...Logic...Ever.

* The moon had it coming!

5 Reasons Why I Love Fall and Winter

* The leaves. I get bored with the color green. Plus I like working half the day before I realize there is a twig and leaf stuck in my hair and down my shirt. Makes me feel like a real man.

* The temperature. If it never got cold then the Snuggie wouldn't have gotten invented. I don't think I could live with myself.

* The flu. Who doesn't like having a week off of work? Sure, you spend the week with fever induced hallucinations and hanging your head in the toilet, but that's all part of the festive fun.

* The clothes. Winter forces even the most whorish of women to cover themselves. You can take the family to a restaurant without your young children being forced into getting a full anatomy lesson on the house.

* The TV. Thanksgiving specials, Christmas classics, football... Now we can finally find something to watch besides the 24 hour CSI and Law and Order marathon that apparently is now currently required by federal law.

I'm off to go play in the leaves!

A Couple Of Observations..

* Obama should be glad. The Olympics are not even exciting anymore anyway. When NBC started rolling out the dramatic rags to riches story on each athlete it became a tiresome affair. Since when do Americans care about track and field??

* There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday...that time is age eleven. -- Anonymous
