My Love Of Politics Is Gone

Remember when I started this blog? Everyday I wrote lengthy opinions about politics. I got so caught up in it that I spent a lot of time pondering what to say. Now I post stupid videos and parody I call "fun facts".
Politics isn't fun anymore. There are no good politicians on the horizon. No one to make us proud. No one to offer a solution to anything at all. No reason to think that this country is headed anywhere but left no matter who is president.
So I will most likely pull the switch for McCain, however not with joy in my heart but with a feeling of pointless obligation.

Fun Facts About My New Job

* My whole body hurts from drilling through a titanium plate.

* Lunch consists of staring into space while I nibble on a peanut butter sandwich.

* If you take a flight on a Hawker Premier anytime in the near future it may be my holes and rivets that are holding together the entire tail section, look out.

* It's fun, new, exciting, and tiring...but overall fun. And the paycheck ain't bad either.

Observations and Comments

* I am a man with no Internet right now. Temporarily my posts may be somewhat sparse since I am typing this from the library.

* I no longer sell vacuums.

* Being without Internet makes me realize how much I depend on the Drudge Report, Facebook and The Phil Hendrie Show. I want to hear some Jay Santos or Steve Bosell...But it is not library friendly.

* At my last job I could bring my laundry and do it at work. At my new job I don't think they'd let me take a break from riveting part of a airplane wing in order to check on my towels and my delicates.

Observations and Fun Facts

* I mostly watched television for two days straight this weekend. I discovered that the only thing on cable tv these days are shows about car chases, forensic investigations, ufos, and Fresh Prince of Bel Air episodes.

* High speed ufo chases is the only direction TV can go to next.

* From what I understand, and by all accounts and sources I have studied, apparently Cheers was filmed in front of a live studio audience.

It's Within Temptation. It's actually Gothic rock from Holland.
It sounds like Enya and Evanesence. It looks way better. Kinda has a Titanic theme better.
But I do like this song.

A Couple Of Observations

* I got yelled at for not using the handrail when going up the stairs at my new place of employment. That's when you realize they aren't joking about safety regulations and policies.

* Bears are jerks. They can be civil to their domestic trainer for 20-30 years and then slash their masters neck on a whim.

* "a couple of observations" should mean only 2 observations. Therefore the title of this worthless post is misleading.

Christians Make Bad Democrats

Sure you can be a Christian and a Democrat at the same time. But can you really be good at either one if you are both?
You have to sacrifice so much about Christianity to be a true democrat. And you have to sacrifice what it means to be a democrat if you are a true Christian.

The modern liberal democrat(Is there such thing as a non-liberal democrat) is a cancer on America. The core values of the modern democrat is the absence of truth and the tolerance of any and all stupidity.

Republicans are no saints. But democrats are so far removed from a life of faith in Jesus Christ and his actual teachings that it's almost essential to never go farther then a Unitarian's belief with their faith.

I'm still a republican. If only to make sure no one mistakes me for a democrat.
