I just wanted to drop in a short note here. I hope everyone heard Bush's brilliant speech today where he lashed out at democrats for trying to "rewrite history" with their lies about how and why the war was waged. I was cheering.
Anyway, today Saddam's top aide that is still left is dead. Izzat Ibrahim is gone. He was number six in the 'most wanted' deck of cards. The five before him have all been captured. The media has little reported how huge a feat this was and how Bush got it done. This was the equivalent of finding 6 needles in a swimming pool full of needles. Bush said in his speech today that we WILL not quit until we have total victory, and we have a long way to go...But look how far we have come. I just can't fathom how huge a task it was to capture so many of the most wanted alive. This is one of the many reasons why Bush will go down in history as one of the greats.
