Proud To Live In Kansas

The Kansas BOE has successfully added alternate science teachings to it's curriculum. If we can stand up to all the ridicule then we will come out better on the other side. The atheistic science community is in attack mode over this. Their theory MUST not have any competition and they will verbally crush anyone who deviates from their theoretical path. The big bang and evolution are nothing more than shoddy guess work. To give evolution such a pass is very belittling to the scientific method. No other theory would hold up.

Anyway, I'm glad that Kansas kids will get both sides of the story. Isn't it just good science to question evolution and offer up possible alternatives??

I assume that your proposition would be to teach "intelligent design" as the alternative to evolution?

No, my proposition is to break up the monopoly. The Intelligent Design theory generally is just theistic evolution which I also disagree with, but at least there is another theory. And if we can teach that God started evolution, then we can surely teach that he could do it in 6 days as well. Or at least they'd be a step closer to it. Once the monopoly is broken up, then maybe the kids will think, "well if there is two theories, why couldn't there be three?"
